"And We Danced" is a rock song by the 1980s band The Hooters, released as the first single from their 1985 album, Nervous Night. The tune became the band's first big hit, just missing the top 20 on the pop charts, but reaching #3 on the Mainstream Rock charts. It remains one of the songs most associated with the band.
The music video for the song, featuring live footage of the band was nominated for the Best New Artist in a Video award at the 1986 MTV Video Music Awards.
